About

IMG is an art & brand consultancy at the intersection of fine and commercial art. We specialize in bridging the gap between artists and creators, and those who seek it for private, public, and commercial purposes.

IMG believes in the support of artist and curators typically underrepresented in traditional art galleries. The artists and curators that work with us are selected for artistic merit, quality and contextual relevance to thought provoking themes. We are partnering with artists in all media and all stages of their career - painters, sculptures, fine art photographers, collage, digital and video artists to create a diverse art community and foster creative development.Features of the platform include a digital image exchange where curated art can be downloaded, licensed, commissioned, and displayed for commercial use such as branding, advertising, marketing, interior design, events, home goods and other applications. IMG provides a creative community and fosters dialogue through our digital exhibitions, print shop, pop-up events, (IRL) exhibitions, and other forums.
Additional Services include: Creative Direction, Curated Thematic Art Experiences, Branding, Image Sourcing, Art Commissions, and general Design Services.

To create a high-quality platform, the IMG review panel will evaluate each submission. Artwork will be featured on our website, social media channels. Other opportunities are interviews, reviews, critiques, and panel discussions.

Our Roots

With a life-long interest in the intersection of fine and commercial art, IMG Projects was founded by artist and creative director, Cheryl Molnar.  She has tapped her own experience, both as a fine artist and as a creative director in the corporate sphere, to build an exchange that addresses the gap between those who produce art and those who seek it. Cheryl believes in the support of underrepresented artists and curators in all stages of their career and fosters opportunities for art appreciators to discover art in non-traditional forums.

In the commercial art space, she has lead branding projects for J.P. Morgan as an Executive Director in Marketing. Previously, she was an Art Director for Martha Stewart, where she worked with teams of photographers and stylists to create custom images for the Martha Stewart brands.

Cheryl is also a internationally exhibited artist, and her collage work is represented by a NY gallery. Most recently she has co- curated with Fay Ku for a booth at SPRINK/BREAK Art Show in New York. She’s been awarded commissions from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs as well as the County of Los Angeles. Currently she is a member artist at the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts (EFA) and she received a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in Graphic Design and an MFA in Painting from Pratt Institute.
